The Arizona's cork-and-latex footbed is molded with a genuine, firm arch contour — real structure that supports the foot rather than just cushioning it, but firm enough that it needs one to two weeks to soften and mold comfortably. The OOahh takes the opposite approach: a softer, closed-cell foam that's comfortable from the very first step, with a molded arch shape rather than firm structural correction.
If your flat feet are flexible and you can tolerate a short adjustment period, the Arizona's firmer structure generally provides more genuine support over the long term. If you have a more rigid arch that finds firm pressure uncomfortable, or you simply need sandals ready to wear immediately (an upcoming trip, for example), the OOahh's soft, no-break-in foam is the more practical choice.
The Arizona's double-strap buckle design allows width adjustment across the top of the foot, useful for the wider forefoot that often accompanies flat feet. The OOahh is a slide-on design with no adjustment, which is simpler but offers less fit customization.
The Arizona's cork sole holds its shape for years with normal use. The OOahh's foam construction is comfortable immediately but compresses and shows wear sooner under heavy daily use — a reasonable trade-off for many buyers given the comfort benefit.
